Who we are

Rolexit is the data controller for the information you give us. We handle personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we hold and why

• Candidates: an anonymous profile (role, experience, region, travel distance, salary expectation) shown to employers, and private details (name, email, phone) that are never shown until you accept an approach.
• Employers: company details, billing records and the approaches you send.
• Both: sign-in details and verification records, so we can confirm every member is a real person.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent for publishing an anonymous profile and releasing your identity, on contract for paid employer membership, and on legitimate interests for fraud prevention and platform security.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, withdraw consent, or have your account deleted at any time. Withdrawing consent hides your profile immediately; deletion removes it permanently.

Keeping data safe

Access is enforced at the database level: employers can only read a candidate's private details after that candidate has accepted their approach. Billing records are kept for six years to meet UK tax rules.
